Urban Runoff Management Study
JA conducted an urban stormwater run-off analysis to assess the impact of run-off upon local streams. Activities included the development of hydrographs and pollutographs to produce a forecasting tool to project pollution loads for the Salem, Oregon urban area.
JA field-monitored several storms to collect data relating to the quantity and quality of the run-off and utilized the computer program HYDRA, calibrated by hand-modeling techniques, to project future pollution loads.

Areawide Urban Runoff Study
For this assignment, F.E. Jordan Associates, Inc. analyzed runoff quality and quantity characteristics, determined geological boundareis of contributing areas to urban storm run-off loads, and developed a forecasting tool to project pollution loads from Eugene/Springfield, Oregon. This study required an extensive field monitoring program, to evaluate water quality constituents, and the use of the computer model STORM, which was developed by the Corps of Engineers. This model was calibrated by JA for specific application on this project.
