Air Cargo Facility

The firm was responsible for overall site development of a 20-acre air cargo facility. This project included five buildings and parking lots, serving nine airline tenants. The total site construction cost was $8 million.

Airport Postal Facility

Site and utility engineering were provided for this $5 million project.

Airport Electrical As-Built Projects

The Chicago office of F.E. Jordan Associates, Inc. was retained to provide a record of as-built drawings of electrical power and control wiring diagrams for the Heating & Refrigeration Building at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. The project included a report of recommendations and eventually led to the elctrical power as-builts for the entire airport. Indianapolis International Airport

United Airlines Maintenance Facility, NW

Develop. Phase II

F.E. Jordan Associates, Inc. was retained by the Indianapolis Airport Authority to design the 100-acre Northwest Site Development of Phase II of the United Airlines Regional Maintenance Facility. The project involved extensive grading and hydrological design for flood control and storm drainage as well as erosion control, cost estimates and completion of construction documents. It also included assistance to the Indianapolis Airport Authority in obtaining permits from other public agencies.

 

San Francisco International Airport

Relocation of Utilities, Lower Loop Road

As a primary consultant, F. E. Jordan Associates, Inc. provided design services to eliminate water system drainage due to traffic, earthload and differential settlement, as well as optimize the effectiveness of the sewage system. This involved relocating water services and associated appurtenances in the Lower Loop Road and the utilities tunnel of the garage. The sewage system on the airfield side incorporates new lift stations and the design of new pressure and gravity lines. The total construction cost was approximately $3 million.
